Heath and Safety in a Construction Environment (CSCS) Training Course – 2 weeks
This course is designed for people wanting to enter the construction security industry.
This qualification exists to qualify candidates to work safely within a construction environment and to access the CSCS green card. Achieving this qualification along with the onscreen CITB test will prove safety competence to employers in the construction industry.
Individuals who want to develop their knowledge and skills and prepare them to undertake further learning or employment within this area. The qualification links to the achievement of the new CSCS Green Card which came into force July 2014.
Learners must achieve the IQ Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (QCF) alongside the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test before they may apply for the
new CSCS Green Card.
Completing this course you will also complete a Level 2 Risk Assessments in the Workplace, Level 2 in Safe Moving and Handling and employabilty skills (CV writing, interview hints and tips plus much more)
Candidates must be ages 16 and above to enrol onto this programme and should be able to demonstrate a basic level of communication skills.
To qualify for this ESF funded course you must be able to provide one form of evidence from each section. Please see guidance
