DISCOVER YOUR APPRENTICESHIP
An apprenticeship gives you the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification by completing a training programme within the workplace. This enables you to earn a wage as you work alongside experienced staff to gain the skills you’ll need for that specific job. The apprenticeship assesses you in a theoretical way; allowing you to demonstrate your knowledge of your chosen career, and in a practical way; through applying the skills you’re learning by working in that industry.
Not only can you earn while you learn but there are no fees to pay to take the programme and you’ll also have the benefits that come with working, including holiday pay. An apprenticeship really can open up career opportunities for you and you’ll receive full support and training from your employer and learning provider throughout.
So, what are you waiting for? If you live in England and are over 16 years of age, you can apply for an apprenticeship now. They generally take 1-4 years to complete and are divided into three levels:
Level 2: Intermediate (GCSE equivalent): Entry level
Level 3: Advanced: Supervisor level
Level 4: Higher (University equivalent): Manager level
